An extremely obscure type. A photograph of one, worn around the neck, was published in Büttikofer, J., Reisebilder aus Liberia, 1890 (pictured below).  

One example was illustrated in Schwab, Tribes of the Liberian Hinterland, 1947, pictured below. It was described as a "Gio knife and sheath."
