Red flags:

• Blade is too thin

• Proportions are off - blade is too short

• Blade shows minimal sigs of age 

• Loose fit where the blade enters the top of the handle. Pieces of wood are inserted there to make the fit more tight

• Blade exits the bottom of the handle incorrectly

• The chip in the bone handle has been sanded 

• Incision patterns do not match Yakoma designs
