Symmetrical Dagger with Midrib

This small dagger is much less common than the famous fa / ntsakh short swords of the Fang, and most examples have handles plated in brass, similar to Fang masks and figures from the 19th century. This un-plated handle is very sincere and is decorated with a single brass upholstery tack. The blade is decorated with a single, miniscule copper rivet, and a pronounced central midrib.
