The Musée du quai Branly has a very closely-related set (71.1902.9.9.1-3). 

Theirs was collected in 1902 and described as a bathroom razor, but others have been described as all-purpose knives.

Eric Claude describes the ways in which these razors are manufactured with the same techniques and design as Algerian Flissa swords: "the majority use the same decorations as the Flissa with some variation, and the same flat-spined blade, tapering towards the tip is also identical to Flissa swords. These knives consist of a mono-metallic mount with the octagonal hilt, the ferrule and the blade, all made of a single piece of forged steel. Some of these are called 'Kabyle razors' and are often seen in pairs in the same sheath" (The Small Catalog of Moroccan and Algerian Edged Weapons, 2020).
