This antique throwing knife is something of a mystery. Its shape is most closely related to throwing knives of the Banda and Nsakara, but it bears some similarity to throwing knives of the Kreish as well. The incising patterns on the blade are undoubtedly Sudanese, closely resembling those applied by the Fur.
